The Grey-Eyed Goddess, Athena
Today is the birthday of my father and my daughter, both of whom see the world grey-eyed, that is, as it is, rather than how they wish it were.
Today, the 20th, is also the birthday of Liz Stephans, whom I revere before all others on the internet. Nobody's sure about the birthday of Pop. We do know that the girl was born at 11:50 on the 19th, in Iowa City. They both love me, for some reason, despite the insanity.
Still, this post is about Liz and her birthday. If you haven't been to breitbart.tv to visit us, you've no idea what I'm talking about, but given the recent attention to Hannah Giles I'll just say that for my money, Liz is much hotter.

It wasn’t too raucous. It was very tee-hee. A good portion of it was dedicated to admiring photos of one another, accusations of other people being photogenic and denials of oneself being photogenic.
