   I personally think Serena just wasn’t used to being in the finals with someone other than Venus! and was experiencing the frustration of defeat; like many proud competitors do…

   McFistedAllot – you are either dumb or missed the point – erm, dumb – it is becoming increeeeeasingly more difficult to seeeeee the wO!rld without framing it in the context of race!!!! And I am not sure why that is – why, it’s almost knee jerk, now – and kinda fun – in the sense that I don’t have to think.

   I too think Usain Bolt is pretty darn fast. And I don’t need any persnickety grammar admonitions. I have freely admitted that I enjoyed the services of a clerk typist for many years, and am prone to typing errors. I also think you recognize my stylistic, if grammatically incorrect, use of punctuation to try and capture the flavor of zealotry. In this case, It was my own zealotry for the Williams sisters; generally classy and fierce competitors who have dominated women’s tennis for many years…

   Answer my question about Kanye, and recognize that I was empathizing with Serena.

   And quit throwing around the racist! and stupid! snark so cavalierly Mr. MFA. Others of us have advanced degrees too; and never forget that Abe Lincoln, like many in the old days, was self educated.
