I think it's a huge waste of money for someone running a cultish organization. Busting up James Ray International is all about getting his people ... the Ray people ... to start questioning, talking, and wondering. They don't go to Google and search "James Ray" .. they search for much deeper terms .. and they steer links to each other over the social web and email. He can astroturf all he wants .. but he's still going to lose the PR war on the web. Many of my biggest not-fans pay for search engine protection.
