I understand that the UN pretty much has to include all comers as far as acceptance in the general body, but on human rights committees? Did somebody do the first one as an April Fool's joke that slipped through? Here (in Mass.) we have pretty much folded on this issue by side-stepping it. In the local TV coverage of the Sudbury MA guy arrested for terrorism, there is no mention of his religion. Even when showing that he taught science and religion at a mosque, they still don't even say Islam or Muslim. Just those coded words - asian and such. And finally, RE the Sudbury muslim terrorist, they say he didn't commit his attacks on malls because he couldn't get fully automatic weapons. If the local drug war and mafia waepon suppliers think you're such scum that they won't sell you automatic weapons, maybe you should rethink your position?
