CRU and Sarah Palin

Robert Tracinski at Real Clear Politics succinctly outlines the fraudulence exposed by the CRU emails, source code (h/t TSK9), and other information.Â Fortunately, Tina Brown and Scarborough have their priorities straight in focusing on Sarah Palin and her supporters:

Here's Brown's Daily Beast's coverage of global warming, including this brief from a publication whose heyday passed about 25 years ago. So far, there's no acknowledgment of the scandal.Â Scientific American ought to devote a special supplement to this, but they won't, of course.

Some of what Brown says about Palin is certainly true: namely that her popularity is fed by Obama's shafting of the American people.Â This really is the same meme, though, that's being advanced by the pseudo-conservative troika of Frum, Brooks, and Friedersdorf, that Palin has no policy chops.Â What they don't get, that most Americans do, is that policy is a reflection of values, and not vice-versa.

Reflection of values?

You know who likes to talk about traditional American values? David Duke.

Policy in a America should reflect the a secular diversity of values of its citizenry, not vice-versa for that leads to fascism. What didn’t you learn about the majority in the South forcing Jim Crow laws onto the minority?

Poor Sarah, nothing but a cultural values prop for the bitter clingers.

One of the problem with Dan’s values meme is that it’s recycling, sort’a like recycling by chugging the warm swill in Trig Palin’s drool cup. It doesn’t make sense.

Ramming values down the throats of others is un-American, after all those who originally left Europe for America were trying to get away from that exact type of repressive forced-values bullshit.

America is about Eduard Limonov and Jose Marti being able to be Eduard Limonov and Jose Marte in New York after they tossed them from Moscow and Cuba.

America is freedom from cultural and values fascism.

      You presume much, Half-wit. If I wanted to regularly “converse” with the mentally handicapped, I’d volunteer with the United Way. At least some of the people they help have the potential, no matter how slight, to overcome their shortcomings. I don’t have that same hope for you.
