This is a new high in lows, and represents the desperation of the administration to conduct damage control on this issue. Just as with the Hunduran debacle, they stuck to their initial knee jerk reaction, ‘cuz, you know, Obama’s too Brilliant! to ever have been wrong, and frantically reached for whatever they could to support that initial reaction…

Well now, the chickens are coming home to roost; let’s just hope that this gets wider play than it has…

In the double standards department:

Let’s get Professor Barack Obama to correct Sarah Palin’s poor writing… I mean he was editor of Harvard Law Review, so he knows how to write well. The Slate commentators let loose on the Palin.

Oh wait, that badly written line above was actually written by Barack Obama*!

* In President Obama’s defense he did release a statement that the line in question was acutally Bill Ayers’.
