   I’m ok. I’m at work. I’m swamped and it’s mostly stupid make-work cause of one time our ceo read a Management By Objective article. So I have to complete my objectives.

   I wish the little president man would stop torturing our little economy so we can all start looking forward again, but it still seems smart to sort of hunker down here for maybe another year.

   My brother is finishing his first semester in that program where he’s gonna teach emotionally troubled and not at all unviolent yoot. His wife is working so they’re doing fine, and I think everything is working out for the best.

   How is stuff in Vermont?

   Mr. G is back kind of at PW so maybe y’all can make nice and you can guest post over there sometimes. Darleen is doing a lot of work but still that would be great everybody misses you.

   I’ve seen Jeff post a couple of times, and commented. Cowboy’s offer to put together an anthology was very kind, and Cowboy comments here, too.

   I’d be happy to return as a frequent commenter when Jeff returns full time. He can’t carry on being disappointed about how things have worked out for him. I can’t think of another site where the regulars would have been so loyal. I haven’t seen any follow up regarding QOR, but if they plan on getting it off the ground, now would be the time.

   You know, I think it’s best that I have my own place. I don’t want to feel like everything that I post is some kind of test of my loyalty to Jeff, and I realize that this is a matter of my feelings probably more than his. I think that he doesn’t particularly care to feel beholden any more than I do.

   Whatever Jeff’s feelings about me—and I assume that they’re generous—I consider him a friend, and I miss all of you, too.

   I’m sorry that the state of the economy is keeping you where you are, because I know that you’ve been sick of it for awhile. Obviously, I share your feelings about The Abider.

      Thanks very much. The key thing, though, is Jeff’s got to get back in the swing of posting. I say so for selfish reasons, but I also think that he’s letting himself down . . . and that sucks.
