Speaking of Asinine, Pat Leahy [Updated]

Via Twitter, where @disturbed_rick sent me the link, the question Levin asks is "Is Leahy drunk?"

Living, as I do, in the People's Republic of Vermont, where separatism is patriotism, as opposed to Texas' governor's assertion of 10th Amendment rights, my counter-question is . . . who cares? Maybe he's drunk, maybe he's suffered a mini-stroke. Neither makes him less a hapless partisan. It's true that Bernie Sanders is an avowed socialist, but that only means that he's more honest than Pat Leahy.

Sanders, at least, has the courage of his convictions. Leahy's a hack, and if there's anyone who wants my help running against him, let's talk.

UPDATE: Time notices the Vermont separatist movement, but not the contradiction.
