I am still wondering how come these people have given so much power to another person over them. I could sense a heightened arrogance even by watching him on a tape. It's time for people to gather some commonsense that you don't need to do extremely stupid things to know one self or God or whatever. We can not know God by our mere efforts, we should only be chosen by him; like well groomed prince will be chosen by a princess in Swayamvara in ancient India. May the departed souls rest in peace and may James Arthur Ray realize in jail that to be a simple person is the greatest achievement. I do not think he intended to kill anyone, but his recklessness is even worse than one getting behind the wheel drunk and killing someone. So that is what makes it intentional, his reckless disregard of the likely outcomes. I am surprised more did not die. Presumably Ray was sober when this all went down. While the victims did allow themselves to be victims to a degree (beware new age sweat lodges and other treatments), they most definitely did not deserve to die and their trust in Ray does not get Ray off the hook at all.
