It’s Irreparable
I have a lawnmower. A riding lawnmower.
One of the belts is busted. Not one of the small, easy to replace ones. The belt that causes the blade to engage/disengage.
The lawnmower looks like a lawnmower. The engine starts. It sounds like a lawnmower. I can sit on it and even ride it around.
But it does not mow any longer as the engineers intended it to.
Of what utility is it now that it doesn't function as intended? And what of my yard? It is full of dandelions and the proud bird bath is mossy-green.

“Of what utility is it now that it doesn’t function as intended?”
Exhibit it as an ironic post-modern statement attacking our arrogant European White Male patriarchal assumption of mastery over nature. You’ll clean up.
And by the way, I don’t think mowing the bird bath was going to work as well as you hoped…

I knew a drunken old guy who used his lawn mower to drive to the bar when he had his driver’s license revoked.

Whaddya mean it’s not repairable??
I’ve replaced every belt on my 1991 12.5HP 38″ MTD mower. Last season, a bolt loosened in the transmission, lodged itself between the differential gear and the lower housing and asploded a hole in the housing. I tore it apart, repaired the housing with JB Weld, refilled with hi-temp grease, and it runs like a new one.
Belts are easily replaced. Search by model #.
As for your storage shed pictured there, I can’t help you.

I’ve already had my lawn-mower fun for the year: I ran too close to the curb at too steep an angle, which stopped the blade dead in its tracks – which then caused the entire assembly to de-shaft itself and drop into the street.
Repairs were simple enough, but it’s a blow to one’s sense of well-being, especially if you’re only one-third through with the yard.
