Dan, I have to respectfully disagree. If James Blunt can make You’re Beautiful a commercial success, why couldn’t the Association be successful.
I remember hearing Korn for the first time. It sounded like someone was clearing their throat. I couldn’t imagine anyone wanting to listen to that crap, let alone buy it!
My college roommate threw my The Platters Greatest Hits against the wall, yet his collection included the BeeGees Staying Alive!
I didn’t care for Disco, Punk, or Rap when I first heard them, but eventually found my musical taste too provincial when exposed to an artist talented enough represent the heretofore mentioned genre I dispised. Hell, Britney Spears has sold 60+ million albums, and she can’t even sing.
My favorite rap song.
