How JournoList Co-Ordinated Damage Control for Obama over Jeremiah Wright

Way back when, I was getting Allahpundit to reanimate the controversy, because it was, and remains, so outrageously wrong. As the latest dust-ups over the NAACP show, anti-crackerism is still widespread, and the tactics are still the same.
Allahpundit asks what Obama thinks he's doing sending Berwick to the Senate for confirmation. I think he's sacrificing him to Kagan's appointment, thinking that the RINOs are going to be able to save face by nuking the recess guy in exchange for a lifetime appointment to the Supremes, wanting not to seem too partisan.

I hope AP is wrong about Berwick being a sacrificial lamb to get Kagan through. Or that Republicans would cave…oh…he unfortunately is probably right on that one.
