Not the White Man’s Bitch

Madison — State elections officials Wednesday narrowly rejected a Milwaukee Assembly candidate's attempt to run with the slogan "NOT the 'whiteman's bitch' " under her name on the ballot.
Ieshuh Griffin, an independent candidate with a history of feuds with local officials, said in response she would sue the state Government Accountability Board for infringing on her freedom of speech.
She is running to replace retiring Rep. Annette "Polly" Williams (D-Milwaukee).
With inner-city, community leadership like that offered by Ieshuh Griffin, Milwaukee Public School's high school drop-out rates seem less surprising than ever.

This is a unique story. I don’t think her slogan is too impressive, but the fact that someone like her is even interested in politics says a lot. At least she’s trying and we do need to give her credit for that.

As a white male, I would also like to state that I am “NOT the ‘whiteman’s bitch’”. Can I also use that slogan if I’m running for election, or would that be some sort of electionary fashion faux pas?

this could not be more offensive. that is what shes trying to get elected on? this is ignorance and racism at its worst. try and say that these words are figurative, and ill try and say that slaves were willing to work for free and asked to be beatin.
