Boston Area Schoolchildren Proselytized, Lied To, During Field Trip to Mega-Mosque
Andy McCarthy has the story at NRO:
Here is the story. A sixth grade class in Wellesley, Massachusetts, was dragged by their teachers to the notorious Roxbury mosque — the $15 million Saudi-funded, minareted Islamic center started by Abdurrahman Alamoudi (now serving a 23-year terrorism sentence) and run by the Muslim American Society (the quasi-official arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States). Capitalizing on the goo that passes for “social studied” curricula, parents were told the “field trip” was “to learn about the architecture of the mosque and observe a midday prayer service.” One parent was concerned enough to volunteer as a chaperone and bring along a camera.
The result is stunning: an unabashed exercise in Islamic dawa, the “call to Islam” and the manner by which the Brotherhood’s spiritual guide, Yusuf Qaradawi, promises that Islam will “conquer America” and “conquer Europe.” Qaradawi — wonder of wonders — is a trustee of the Roxbury mosque (although he is banned from the U.S. for sanctioning terrorism). As the video relates, “Dawa Net,” one Islamic organization that instructs on how to use the schools to inculcate the young, explains that public schools in America are “fertile grounds where the seeds of Islam can be sowed inside the hearts of non-Muslim students.”
Lady Gaga supports homophobe GZ Mosque developers, but deplores DADT.

The approach worked for Marxism and Gore-ism, should work for Islam, too. (What happens when one of the little tykes condemns the “carbon footprint” of the Hajj?)

Public schools have been requiring parents to buy toilet paper and cleaning supplies because schools are broke but they fund a field trip for Islamic indocrination?

Actually, if you look at the permission slip, the parents were paying $8 per pupil for the brainwashing.

Hence why I insist we are poorer but send our kids to Catholic school. I had enough of the pub schl last year for a lifetime. 3 kids I pulled from pub schls. If the govt wants the hearts and minds of my children they are going to have to carve them out of their cold, dead bodies.

This is outfreakinrageous. And not because it’s Islam, but yeah that to. Are they kidding me? Where in the name of god and little fishes is the ACLU? If they had taken these kids to a Catholic Church and had them participate in Communion or to a Synagogue and made them read the Torah or to a Baptist Church and had them participate in a pot luck dinner the Left would be EXPLODING with outrage and anger.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…I do not understand how a person spends everyday being a liberal without their head exploding on a daily if not hourly basis. The hypocrisy itself is a freakin’ full time job.
Sheesh.

I agree completely.
But, you know, Chrstians and Jews aren’t nearly as attractive, radical, and edgy as Muslims and Buddhists are; according to the prevailing transnationalist, multi-culti, mindset.
I mean, the lefties at the ACLU agree with the Jihadists rhetorical point of departure that the U.S. is the “great Satan” and that we are the root cause of all the world’s problems. Thay can all agree on the inherent eeeevvvvollll! of America.
Want a nativity scene in your town square? ACLU will have your arse in court…
But de facto Muslim proselytizing? Whatevz…

As Enoch pointed out, the dangers of new age religions cannot be discounted either.
Still, if Dan finds the right mushrooms on any of his forays, POWIP church service of fungal englightment may be in order.

Hey, I know they’ve got a bunch of Catholic churches around there, which very conveniently have daily Mass… many have Mass more than once a day! So scheduling a field trip would be a breeze!
They should be taught about the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. I think it would be a great educational experience!
