Closing Out Tabs, 10-31-10
Had a busy day, yesterday, and other posters were doing a bang-up job, so I just nuked a lot of stuff that's being well covered elsewhere, such as the Anchorage CBS affiliate who were taped on the answering machine of Joe Miller's public relations guy plotting to smear him. Lovely. The funny part is that the guy who made the original availability call called back to say, hey, I accidentally left a long message! Darned iPhone! Anyway, Palin came out against those scum as she also did against Princess Lisa's getting a radio commentator booted, which Bob covered yesterday.
Really, it's not surprising. CBS has been the worst of the networks for some time now, news-wise. I say that it's been worst because NBC is more up-front about their sympathies. ABC have bee trying to bring a little fairness to their coverage of the elections, and other matters, which is why they're getting withering fire from MMFA and other lefties for the temerity of allowing Andrew Breitbart to comment on their programs, causing them to have to issue this statement to the proggtards, yesterday. Think Progress also had this lunatic piece about the relations of a dude who threatened Patty Murray blaming the Svengali-like influence of Glenn Beck.
Yesterday, too, Jerome Corsi had this Issa report on how ObamaCo use taxpayer resources illegally to build support for his agenda. Also lost in the sturm und drang was Matthew Vadum's latest piece on ACORN and Shaun "of the Dead" Donovan. Victor Davis Hanson is puzzled by the same things that puzzle many of us. AIDS advocate hecklers caused Cool Jerk to lose it and lie about who supports and opposes world AIDS intervention, the Bush initiative that MFM dares not acknowledge.
According to Rasmussen, 2/3 of Americans favor getting rid of everyone in Congress and starting over. The 1/3 that doesn't is largely proggtardy, but they're going to feel differently after Tuesday. The Hostages are keeping you motivated for Tuesday, with Dr. David Janda on health care rationing. No Sheeples is way into the Halloween thing, which is scarier for some than others this year. Jimmie's tab clearing is really generally better than mine, so make it a daily stop, and never forget Teach's Sorta Blogless Sunday Pin-Up.
New, to me, this week, is The Belch, which shows promise.
